3D Printing Of Products Takes Off!

Jerry Jasinowski, former President & CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers, the largest and one of the most prestigious trade associations in the USA writes a regular column for the esteemed Huffington Post, now read by more people than the New York Times.
Jerry recently interviewed Managing Principal, Rudy Vogel and Senior Principal, Bill Macy, both of nuFaktory for his most recent article. In it jerry discusses the advances that are being made in 3D Printing which start with Computational Design - a new way at dealing with design principles based on the school of thought emanating from architecture. Such designs can now deal with larger items since on the horizon are coming printers with ever increasing build beds. Are full scale 3D printed automobiles in the not-too-distant future? The answer is a resounding 'Yes!'
Finally, this year we will begin to see the integration of traditional CNC machines linked with additive machines creating a closed-loop manufacturing reality. Mr. Jasinowski does an exceptional job in highlighting these points in a well-crafted article. Read it here:
